How do you apply to receive a care package?

Applications to apply for a care package open every month around the beginning of each month!!
Look out for a post with the date & time applications will be open. This post will be posted both on the Instagram page
as well as on the facebook page. Applications fill up fast each month so be sure to be online and ready to apply at that time to ensure you get into that month's round of packages. If you don't get one submitted that month your more then welcome to try to apply next month. After applications are submitted I will then contact you via Instagram or Facebook to let you know I received your application & that everything on your application looks good & then you can send the shipping funds donation & I will start working on putting together your care package & get it shipped out to you that month!! :)

To apply you will be required to donate $8 toward shipping funds for your package(USA price, International pricing below). I will need this sent via donation links within a few days after I confirm I received your application: Please wait to sent funds till after I confirm with you that I got your application which I should be able to confirm by a few days after applications close💕I have a few different options for receiving shipping donation funds: PayPal is preferred but Venmo, & more are also available as options.

Can I apply if I've previously applied and received a care package from you?
As of April 2019 Yes, however, It has to at least be at the 6-month mark since you previously received a care package from me if your if it's your 2nd care package After that, it would need to be at least a full year between each package from my organization unless the rule changes in the future. Also, I prefer you not to apply every year but only when you really could use something to help bring joy & happiness throughout the struggles your facing with your health. The reason being is there are so many people out that have chronic illnesses that would love to apply and receive a care package from my care package organization & my goal & mission is to reach as many people as I can with my care packages. Applying for a package each month etc. would take the point out of my mission and goal. However, I also have many different ideas & ways to expand & creating new ways for people to be involved in my organization even when your unable to apply due to already receiving a package :) I currently do raffles that everyone including people without chronic illnesses can participate in as well as giveaways and other Opportunites to get involved :)

If you have received or applied or plan on applying for another care package from another care package project/organization within a few month's time period. What I mean by this is say you apply for mine In December then you would need to of not received a package the full month of November from any other project/organization at all. Also the same goes for the whole month of December. Then after you receive my package promise to not apply for any other care packages the whole month of January ( If you even plan on applying to any others). If so you'd have to wait to apply to any other till February. If you don't fall under this please do not apply. I'm more than fine with you applying once you do fall under my rule. I do check & will also kindly deny based on this. I feel this is a very fair rule as there is definitely a growing problem where people are applying for multiple care packages from different projects/organizations one after another in a very short period of time. I personally speak with & support quite a few other similar organizations/ projects & I know others feel the same way that applying to multiple one after another is not the point of our care package projects/organization's mission & goals. So I just ask kindly that you please realize that & don't apply to multiple care packages in that manner. Thanks!
Are the care packages personalized? Say if I have allergies or things I prefer not to receive in my package can I let you know that?
Yes, the care packages are personalized to the likes of the person applying. The application has sections to list things like favorite color, your interests, dislikes, allergies if you're vegan/ vegetarian if you can't use specific products due to sensitivity etc. As well as a space for any other info you would like me to know. The application also has a long checklist of items that I have available or might have available for the care packages. While I can't guarantee that you will receive the items selected, I do try my best to make it items that you will enjoy :) I also do my best to not include any allergies that you list on your application however please do check all ingredients before eating or using items to ensure I didn't make a mistake. It's very rare for me to make a mistake due to allergies but it could happen.
Do all donations go directly toward the care packages? If I were to donate toward your care package organization how will donations be used? & how do I go about donating? Also, will I be able to see where my donation is going toward? Can I choose if my donation goes toward shipping costs of other peoples packages or to purchase items?
All cash donations go directly into a PayPal account set up just for use with my organization. All funds donated or items always go directly toward my care package organization. If donating with Venmo it goes to my personal account & your donation will always either end up in the Paypal account to pay shipping costs for the ones that can't afford to help with shipping funds or transferred to my bank account & then used to purchase items/ supplies for the care packages. To donate there are links both on here via the get involved tab that will take you to all methods for donating & well as you can find the links via our link-tree link which is found on the bio on our Instagram account. Also, you're more than welcome to message me for info about donating new items directly to me & we can work out getting them shipped here. Yes, you can choose if you would like your cash donation to go toward shipping costs for other packages or to purchase items for the care packages, just leave whichever you choose in a comment when donating or message me via email or Direct messages & let me know:) As for if you will be able to see were the donations go toward after you donate toward shipping or to purchase items. For shipping, it would be kinda hard for me to show you whos package shipping it went toward however a lot of the time you will see a post about me adding other shipped packages on top of the normal applications. For example one month I used some funds donated by myself & others to pay to ship packages to children with cancer. Other times the full month's applications packages will be covered by donations( really just depends on donations we receive to help out our organization). So yes I would be able to let you know whom your donation helped just not exact names or accounts of whom it helped. For funds donated to shop for more items for the care packages, I often post shopping hauls that are either things I've personally contributed or using funds other donated. I can always let you know which post of items were purchased with your donation funds if you would like to know just message me.
